Operates and maintains wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of wastewater by performing the following duties. 8 days on 6 days off rotation; 4 - 10 hour shifts: 6am-4pm Weekdays; Weekends 6am to 6pm How You Will Make Contributions That Matter • Operates and maintains pumps, blowers, chemical feed equipment, sludge processing equipment, clarifiers, and other related equipment. • Monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate the flow of wastewater. • Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine load requirements. • Starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of wastewater through filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion processes. • Maintains log of o
