Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 11/12/2026 About this opportunity: Cenovus is seeking an experienced Wapiti Operator to join our Northern Corridor Operations team. This role is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and optimization of the Wapiti oil battery and associated field, including pumping and flowing oil wells, oil treating and sales, pipelines, and solution gas compression. Working with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will take ownership of their operating area, support contractors, manage call-outs, identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency, and contribute to safe and compliant operations. Work Environment: This is a full-time employee position working a shift rotation (8 days on, 6 days off, 10-hour days). This position requires the successful candidate to reside in or around Grande Prairie. This is a unionized role.
