Position Description: The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading, coordinating, and continually improving the mine’s training programs to ensure workforce competency, regulatory compliance, and safe operational performance. This role oversees the development, delivery, and evaluation of training for mining personnel across various operational areas, including underground, surface, and maintenance depending on the site’s structure. The Training Supervisor ensures that all employees receive the required onboarding, task training, refresher training, and skills development necessary to perform their duties safely and efficiently. This includes managing training schedules, maintaining accurate training records, supporting audits, and ensuring alignment with company standards, MSHA requirements, and site-specific procedures.
