Posting Date - October 22, 2026 Closing Date - December 2, 2026 The Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta invites internal applications from current members of the Faculty for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in the area of Rehabilitation Science. This competition is restricted to current full-time tenure-track members of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. Interested candidates must have a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences or a related field and currently be Assistant or Associate Professors. The successful Chairholder will establish an innovative, high-impact research program supporting Faculty priorities in: Neuroscience and mental health Children’s health and wellness Chronic disease prevention and management. We are seeking an emerging leader with a strong research trajectory who has demonstrated an outstanding record of research accomplishments, an externally funded, vibrant and growing program of research, and acknowledgement by peers as an emerging leader in Rehabilitation Sciences.
