About the Role
As an SAP EWM Consultant, you will design and implement warehouse management solutions that improve supply chain operations and support evolving business needs. You will apply SAP Extended Warehouse Management expertise to guide solution decisions, optimize processes, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
This role provides opportunities to influence key decisions, solve complex operational challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SAP EWM solutions aligned with business objectives, industry practices, and functional requirements.
- Translate current and future business requirements into clear functional specifications and application designs.
- Facilitate workshops with business users, process owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions.
- Analyze warehouse processes, identify operational gaps, and recommend improvements across inbound, outbound, inventory, and internal warehouse activities.
- Create process designs, workflow maps, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and user guidance.
- Support SAP EWM configuration, functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement within warehouse and supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in SAP EWM, warehouse management, supply chain technology, or related functional consulting.
- Expert proficiency in SAP EWM processes, solution design, and functional configuration.
- Advanced proficiency in business process design, including requirements analysis and future-state process development.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and solution designs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational requirements and recommend practical solutions.
- Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience in process mapping, process analysis, and workflow optimization.
- Working knowledge of supply chain management and warehouse operations.
