Ensures all virtualization hypervisor systems are tested, hardened to function efficiently and seamlessly. Applies in-depth experience with components of on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Plans, acquires, and coordinates the testing, certification and adoption of compute operating systems, across the enterprise. Designs and administers automated virtualization systems for enterprise deployment for visualization technologies. Acts as the primary technical liaison between Infrastructure and other IT teams, vendors and partners, as well as the business to design and deliver for foundational virtualization infrastructure. Works to determine enterprise security controls and identify any threats to the platform operating systems (hardening and remediations) Diagnoses complex operating system server issues and implements corrective solutions for support teams.
