CAE, a leader in aviation training, is offering an opportunity at its Orlando, Florida location through the Supporting Crew Member (SCM) program. The SCM program trains and qualifies program members to provide “right seat support” for clients attending FAA-approved 14 CFR Part 142 curriculum courses at CAE facilities. This is an on-call position for candidates who live in the Orlando area. The Supporting Crew Member will: Provide right seat support for clients participating in FAA-approved training programs. Participate in formal aircraft Second-in-Command (SIC) simulator training for select aircraft types. Maintain required program qualifications and currency. Be available for a minimum of 35 events during a 12-month period to maintain currency and receive recurrent training. Commit to 10 to 15 days of work per month.
