This role supports the General Account ESG team in integrating ESG and climate-related considerations into investment decision-making across Manulife's global investment portfolio. Responsibilities include climate risk analysis, ESG integration, regulatory reporting, data analysis, and sustainable finance research. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across Investments, Risk, Finance, Data, and Sustainability to support a range of ESG and climate-related initiatives. Position Responsibilities: • Conduct research on ESG, climate and sustainable finance trends, regulations and market practices relevant to the General Account. • Support climate risk analysis and the assessment of material ESG risks and opportunities across public and private investments. • Support with analyzing portfolio data, including emissions and other climate and ESG metrics. • Contribute to regulatory requirements and reporting, internal reporting and related process improvements. • Support ESG integration, sustainable finance assessments, peer benchmarking and thematic research. • Translate research and data into clear presentations, briefings and practical insights. • Collaborate with colleague
