RESTRICTED TO MCGILL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS Hiring Unit: Marvin Duchow Music Library Hour of work: 12 hours/week Duration: 13 week Position Summary: Under the direction of a library staff member, the student assists with the delivery of Library services during peak periods. Duties include circulating materials of various formats, answering basic inquiries from users, preparing audio/video equipment for circulation, and contributing to the processing and organizing of library materials. Must be available on weekends. May be required to open and/or close the library and perform emergency evacuation procedures. Performs other supplementary tasks as assigned. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Excellent knowledge of music and music materials, preferably with some formal training. Knowledge of music score
