Hiring Unit: Schulich Library Hour of work: 15 hours Period of Employment : From September 20, 2026 to May 1, 2027 Position Summary: Under the supervision of a library head and with support from the liaison librarian team, the Student Librarian will provide both personal service at the Reference Desk and/or virtual reference service (chat, email, text messages) to McGill students, faculty, and other users of McGill Libraries. They will also participate in special projects and design learning objects in collaboration with librarians. This is an on-site position. Primary duties include: informing and assisting researchers at the Reference Desk in discovering, accessing and using the Libraries’ substantial information resources; communicating with and assisting remote clients through our Virtual Chat servic
