Job Title: Stockroom Attendant Start Pay: $ 19/hr Shift: 1st Job Summary: Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers. Responsibility: Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location. Verify packing slip for the amount shipped. Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily. Maintain shipping dock cleanliness. Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away. Other Duties as assigned. Maintain area cleanliness. Academic/Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years of stockroom experience. Ability to complete required paperwork. Possess problem solving abilities. Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification. Possess strong organizational skills. Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.
