⠀ Description The Simulator Technician is responsible for performing complex but standardized technical tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance activities on simulators and associated systems. Work may be performed in the office, on-site, or in the field and may include supporting design-related activities. Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems. Assist in diagnosing and correcting issues on simulators and associated simulator systems. Diagnose and resolve routine technical issues on simulators and associated simulator systems. Utilize the maintenance management system to document and track maintenance activities. Train technicians on foundational technical skills and maintenance procedures. Complete all designated training requirements. Actively pursue ongoing professional development and technical training. Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on simulators. Perform visual alignments and adjustments. Run, evaluate, and document Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results. Assist with simulator refurbishment projects and hardware modifications.
