Job Title: Setup Technician Job Summary Set up and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent operation. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, this role ensures that machines are prepared for production runs, troubleshooting any issues to minimize downtime. Responsibility Set up, adjust, and calibrate production equipment (CNC & Conventional) for scheduled production runs according to specifications. Read and interpret CMM reports, analyze out of tolerance conditions and make adjustments. Setup and maintain adjustable support tools (fixturing). Predict tool wear and tool changes based on SPC data. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues before they cause downtime. Troubleshoot equipment problems during production and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve mechanical or technical issues. Monitor equipment during operation, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality guidelines, and production efficiency. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions of parts according to drawing specifications. S
