This includes developing and monitoring the model risk management program and practices, implementing policies, standards, and controls that increase transparency, accuracy, and consistency across the bank, and working with stakeholders to implement the methodology, metrics, and program standards to ensure compliance, effective monitoring, and timely reporting. Leads the development and maintenance of governance systems and framework. Coordinates the management of databases; ensures alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards. Defines business requirements for the bank’s Model Inventory System, including model lifecycle workflows, inventory data fields, governance checkpoints, reporting requirements, and control expectations.
