, India Job Family Group: Finance Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: October 22, 2026 Business Unit: Experience Level: Experienced Professionals Job Description: What’s the role The Senior Specialist - Market Risk Operations will support the Gas & Power trading business by providing independent market risk measurement, exposure monitoring, P&L analysis, risk reporting, and control framework oversight. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate complex risk metrics into meaningful business insights for senior management. What you’ll be doing Analyse and explain daily P&L movements and key portfolio risk drivers. Perform risk analysis using Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, sensitivity analysis, and other market risk methodologies. Monitor trading exposures and limits in accordance with the Trading Control Framework and Manual of Authorities (MOA). Provide insightful risk commentary on commodity trading portfolios, particularly Gas and Power. Conduct ad hoc data analysis and reporting using trading risk databases and reporting tools.
