We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Manager to join our team in Auckland. In this role, you’ll lead across multiple engineering teams, develop managers and engineers, and create the conditions for high performance and reliable delivery. You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering leadership to align roadmaps, navigate complex technical decisions and drive improvements across the wider engineering organisation. The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership, deep technical delivery experience and the judgement to know when to step in, when to step back and how to help others lead.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Lead Engineers directly and through managers across multiple engineering teams.
- Coach and develop leaders.
- Partner with Product and Design to align strategy, roadmaps and delivery.
- Create clarity through clear expectations, useful feedback and opportunities to grow.
- Keep delivery moving by removing blockers, managing risk and supporting reliable execution.
