Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 10/20/2026 About this opportunity: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Engineering & Program Management, the Senior Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, on-budget, on-schedule, and high-quality delivery of projects for the Canadian Thermal Conventional Heavy Oil asset team. The role manages all project phases from initial scoping and detailed design, through construction and commissioning; providing technical leadership and adhering to Cenovus’s established project execution processes. What you’ll do: Provide single point coordination of upfront scoping and troubleshooting of projects including necessary field verifications and data gathering. Lead engineering and procurement, through external engineering firms, of repeatable and/or medium to complex projects across multiple concurrent projects and execution phases while meeting objectives, budgets, schedules, and construction expectations in accordance with Cenovus project standards.
