ARK Country Affairs Senior Officer Position Description Kibali Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Country Affairs Senior Officer to support the ARK Project mine expansion. Based in the country office in Kinshasa and reporting to the Country Manager, the Country Affairs Officer will provide dedicated coordination between the ARK site team and the relevant government administrations. The role will support the preparation and filing of expansion dossiers, follow up applications and authorisations, track approvals, and coordinate technical responses to administrative requests. The incumbent will assist the Country Manager with ARK-related government engagements and work closely with project leadership and the specialist teams responsible for various admin requests. The role will operate within the existing country-office structure, with technical validation and specialist responsibilities remaining with the relevant functions. The incumbent will be expected to uphold Barrick’s DNA and contribute in a safe, ethical and cost-effective manner, in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures.
