Job Description What is the opportunity? You will be a key member of the RBC Privacy team performing a 2nd Line of Defence role within the wider Compliance function. In this role you will: Ensure the Global Privacy Program continues to evolve to meet the applicable regulatory requirements, and to demonstrate compliance with local privacy laws, and other laws and regulations (where applicable). Drive a culture of privacy by advocating for privacy by design and integration of the RBC privacy principles, accountability and sharing of best practice across all businesses and functions in the region. Support Global Privacy’s ongoing transformation to a risk management function through oversight, anchored 1LOD accountability, improved risk assessment methodology, enhanced reporting and adopted Regulatory Compliance Management practices.
