Reporting to the Head of Communications, North America & Europe, Manulife Wealth and Asset Management, the Senior Manager for Retirement & Wealth, Canada. will be responsible for building, connecting, and driving the communications strategy to support the objectives, visibility, and overall goals of the business. This role will be responsible for developing communications strategies that articulate the strategic objectives of this business internally to connect colleague to our overarching Manulife Investment Management objectives, and externally to protect and enhance our reputation with the media, advisors, and other audiences. In the execution of your responsibilities, this position will be a member of Manulife WAM’s Global Communications team and will work closely with other members of the Manulife communications team, as well as Communications Global Practice Areas (media relations, events, thought leadership, issues management, content) to drive initiatives forward and ensure continuous improvement of our work.
