ABOUT THE ROLE
Hi, I'm Kristien https://www.linkedin.com/in/kristien-wolmarans/, a Director of Engineering at Jane leading our Dev Acceleration team. This team’s mission is to experiment with ways AI can help our developers build and ship better software, faster. Jane is founder-led and our mission is to help the helpers. This team is one way we do that: the quicker our developers can build, the sooner the clinics who rely on Jane get what they need.
AI tools and ideas change every week, so this team moves fast. We try things, keep what works, and happily drop what doesn't. You'll lead a small, experienced team who head out to explore, then come back together to build. You won't have a triad to lean on, so you'll work closely with developers across Jane, get close to how they write code, and bring them along with clear and honest communication.
This is a big, visible role. You'll help set how a whole engineering org works with AI, and you'll be the person who makes that change land. If you love listening to a problem before jumping to a solution, and you get a kick out of helping people get excited about something new, I'd love to meet you.
