Job Description What is the Opportunity? The Metadata/Data Lineage team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to improve data governance and data lineage management across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful implementation of data lineage extraction and documentation. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished on time. What Will You Do? Analyze, validate, and document data lineage from complex legacy systems across AML, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Wealth Management Design and execute SQL queries and Python scripts to extract data relationships and lineage information from undocumented or minimally documented legacy systems Build and maintain reusable frameworks and tools that scale across multiple systems and departments Research and prototype AI/agent-based approaches to automate data lineage discovery Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams, data engineers, and platform teams to understand data flows and validate lineage Work independently to identify blockers, develop solutio
