Job Description What is the opportunity? As a Senior Counsel, you will support the goals of the Assistant General Counsel, Global Technology & Trusts and Managing Counsel, Platforms, in achieving the strategic priorities and operational performance goals of the Law Group, in particular the performance commitments of solution-oriented advice and responsiveness. You will provide legal advice to the enterprise payments team on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters relating to payment initiatives across RBC, and advice to support RBCx and its Portfolio Companies – MyDoh, Dr.Bill, Ownr and Houseful. What will you do? Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Platforms legal team and act as senior legal advisor on enterprise payments initiatives across all business lines Provide legal advice in connection with Payments Canada’s modernization program, including the development of the new high value system (Lynx) and real-time rail (RTR) and legal framework governing these systems Provide advice on various matters including advice on mergers and acquisitions, new and amended product development, and related compliance and negotiation of client agreements and governance matters Su
