The Senior Compliance Consultant is a senior subject matter expert and leader providing compliance advisory and independent oversight support to the Canada Segment Individual Insurance, Group Benefits and Affinity businesses. The role interprets complex regulatory requirements, serves as an escalation point for compliance matters, supports oversight and monitoring activities, and collaborates with business and oversight partners on cross-segment and global initiatives. Leveraging extensive industry, regulatory, product, distribution, and operational expertise, the role provides practical, risk-based guidance, promotes consistent compliance practices, strengthens risk management capabilities, and influences stakeholders across multiple business and oversight functions.
