As the ideal candidate, you are able to: Excel at technical accounting • Assist the Manager, Financial Reporting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS • Prepare monthly reporting packages, audit packages and undertake consolidation activities • Research and provide recommendation for appropriate IFRS treatments of unique or complicated transactions as they arise • Staying current in the profession and up to date with best practices Participate in internal / external reporting • Support external reporting requirements, including MD&A and note disclosures • Prepare working papers and reconciliations to support consolidated financial statements • Assist with period-end activities, including consolidation and elimination adjustments, reconciliations, and variance a
