Position Summary: The candidate will work independently on basic research projects in the laboratory of Dr. Ruthazer at the MNI. His/her work will develop a multilevel understanding of the behavioral responses of larval zebrafish to environmental stimuli, from decision-making to motor coordination. He/she will develop analyses and computational models to explain existing datasets and extract the algorithms underlying responses to visual and water flow stimuli. He/she will work with collaborative teams on the multidisciplinary aspects of the research projects, and contribute to the scientific environment of the lab.
