The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, building, automating, and supporting cloud-based platforms and infrastructure that enable development teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure applications. The role works closely with software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to create platform capabilities, implement DevOps best practices, and improve operational efficiency. Position Responsibilities: You are responsible for CI/CD automation, enhancing delivery capabilities, filling the gap between development & deployment. You need to be familiar with code governance & release management & artifact management & integration toolchain in SDLC. You need to provide enhancements to existing CI/CD pipelines and build new CI/CD pipelines to support development teams if needed.You need to be familiar with Groovy, Java and NodeJS programing to support CI/CD pipelines running on various platforms. E.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions. You need to build tools/automation scripts to enrich the CI/CD platform’s capabilities/features. Using AI capabilities are recommended. You need to be familiar with modern programing language build frameworks/toolkits to support CI/CD in SDLC
