How you will make contributions that matter We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at our Specialty Cheese facility in Burnie, Tasmania. Working across a structured rotating shift roster, you’ll undertake preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and equipment improvements to support plant reliability and minimise production downtime. Your responsibilities will include: Undertaking proactive, preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site. Diagnosing faults and responding to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Mechanical fitting, machining and repairs across production equipment. Welding and fabrication, including TIG welding on stainless steel. Supporting plant upgrades, installations and continuous improvement activities.
