Hiring Unit: Athletics and Recreation Position Summary: Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for leading and coordinating martial arts group lessons to registered participants. These classes/courses range from beginner to advanced levels. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate martial arts group lessons. Adapt lessons to the specific groups - ranging from beginners to advanced. As required, modify moves/techniques for any members who may have limitations. Address any emergency issues requiring attention to supervisor or security. **MUST BE PROFICIENT IN TEACHING ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING DICIPLINES: Muay Thai / Boxing / Kickboxing / Tae Kwon Do Wrestling / Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu / Judo Other Qualifying martial arts Other Qualifying Skills
