Job Title: Machine Operator – Die Casting Job Summary Under general supervision, responsible for the set-up and operation of Die Casting Cell used in production processes. Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. Shift between activities as production demands, determine and correct more machine malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Responsibility Responsible for maintaining production documents Shows understanding of all Quality process controls and documentation. Has the ability to use all the equipment safely and correctly. Execution of all functions of the die Casting Cell Responsible for the quality of the parts from the Die Casting Cell. Starting up of the high pressure die-casting machines. Responsible for quality checks and the documentation of information as required. Collaborate and work within continuous improvement teams on plant projects. Able to detect casting errors visually. Analyze “out of tolerance” conditions Work to continuously improve all areas of productivity and reduce scrap. Have the flexibility and willingness to learn and help in other areas of the facility.
