Installs, repairs, replaces and services a variety of door hardware. Makes keys for various types of locks. Primary Responsibilities: Reads and interprets plans, drawings and specifications. Prepares and works on various materials. Submits to his immediate superior, for approval, requisitions for material and equipment. Installs, repairs, replaces and services locks and various security measures. Installs, verifies and services cylinders, etc. Installs, repairs and services springs, cylinders, hinges, etc. Repairs and services door-springs and, on occasion, will install these, etc. Makes keys for various types of
