Level 4 – Maintenance Technician Multi Skilled Job Summary The Level 4 – Maintenance Technician Multi Skilled position, under limited supervision, is responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Additional responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and schematics. Troubleshooting and problem-solving on industrial equipment. Responsibility · Perform regular machine maintenance as stated in the Preventative Maintenance Program. · Use PLC as a troubleshooting tool. · Perform predictive maintenance. · Provide guidance in troubleshooting and repair and overseeing junior mechanics. · Interpret and review schematic drawings of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to understand their operation and identify malfunctions. · Evaluate condition of parts and equipment. · Assess feasibility of designs for small modifications to equipment and machinery. · Supervise and train apprentices and maintenance laborers. · Housekeeping and light maintenance of the quality assurance work areas.
