Job Summary Under direct supervision, perform skilled maintenance on machines such as mechanical, electrical, and machine systems. Duties may increase in scope as the employee becomes more skilled. Troubleshooting and problem-solving on industrial equipment. Responsibility Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs. Use PLS as a troubleshooting tool Install new equipment using outside services if required. Maintain the equipment through preventive/predictive maintenance program. Consults the work orders and maintenance log book for jobs to be done. Understand the amount of time that particular jobs require. Give leadership in troubleshooting and repair using the most expedient and thorough methods. Keep equipment in working condition for maximum uptime. Academic/Educational Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Certificate of qualifications or certificate in a related field or equivalent working experience (millwright preferred). Taken specific courses and knowledgeable in different controllers (i.e. Fanuc, Siemens). Required Skills/Experience Essential Skills · Reading: 5 · Document Use: 3 · Numeracy: 3 Two or more years o
