Maintenance Technician Level 1 Job Summary Under direction of supervisor, performing basic, routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including inspections, minor repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance checks utilizing various trades skills like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Responsibility Maintain systems to track, report, document and assist with scheduled preventative maintenance. Housekeeping of storage area for fluids. Operate forklift and floor scrubber. Maintain equipment in a safe and clean manner. Ability to use CMMS (computerized maintenance and manufacturing system). Ensure compliance of maintenance instruction sheets and procedures. Attend maintenance daily meeting. Other duties as assigned. Academic/Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Required Skills/Experience Essential Skills · Reading: 5 · Document Use: 3 · Numeracy: 3 A minimum of one year experience in manufacturing.
