The successful candidate will be part of the Faculty Association collective bargaining unit. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver campus) welcomes applications for a full-time Lecturer position, from all fields of mechanical engineering. We are particularly interested in well-rounded professionals with experience in engineering fundamentals, experimental methods and engineering design. The initial appointment will be for a 3-year term. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2027. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in a broad array of subjects as well as fulfill service and administrative duties as assigned by the Department Head.
