Meet Benevity

Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more!

As a Learning Specialist, you’ll deliver learning and enablement experiences that help Benevity-ites build skills and do their best work. You’ll run Launchpad, our week-long new hire program, manage our leadership programs end to end, facilitate workshops across the organization, and design and deliver enablement company-wide.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Launchpad, our week-long office based new hire onboarding program, and be accountable for its facilitation, content, logistics, communication, scheduling, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage leadership programs, including Manager Essentials, end to end: scheduling, participant communications, LMS coordination, measurement, and reporting.
  • Facilitate workshops and learning experiences that align with Benevity’s priorities, including Level Up workshops on soft skills and business acumen, adapting your approach to different groups and contexts across a global audience.
  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable learning and enablement, including eLearning modules, learning guides, videos, and supporting resources, defining the approaches, standards, and templates that others can reuse.
  • Define success measures, track impact, and report results to leadership, analyzing participant feedback and data to decide what to refine, retire, or build next and to improve how learning is delivered.
  • Advise cross-functional stakeholders on the right approach to learning and enablement, recommending formats, timing, and delivery methods, and drive adoption of best practices across teams.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline administrative and design tasks, enhance content delivery, and personalize learning experiences.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-8 years of experience in a facilitation, learning delivery, enablement, or people development role, including experience owning a program end to end.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in organizational development, adult learning, HR, or a related field would be ideal.
  • Advanced facilitation and presentation skills. You know how to read a room (virtual or in person) and keep people engaged.
  • Certification or training in facilitation frameworks or leadership models (e.g., Insights, Fierce Conversations, DDI, Situational Leadership) is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver enablement or training that drives adoption across teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly.
  • Experience designing eLearning, ILT, and enablement materials. Video and graphic design skills would be a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage recurring programs and coordinate across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, learning design tools, and virtual facilitation tools.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset. You actively seek feedback and look for ways to improve your craft.
