Hiring Unit: Department of Biology (Professor Irene Gregory-Eaves) Position Summary: Assists in the preparation of laboratory materials and maintains clean, organized laboratory workspaces. Maintains an inventory of field equipment and ensures that it is in good working order. Organizes and regularly disposes of chemical and biological waste. Assists with the cleaning of glassware and field equipment. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Organized and communicative. Ability to set and meet realistic deadlines. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Comfortable handling chemicals.
