Junior Legal Counsel Support the Head of Legal/Legal Director in delivering a professional and effective legal function within the Legal and Compliance Department of Manulife (Vietnam) Limited. Provide practical legal advice and support to business functions, help manage legal risks, and contribute to the Company’s legal initiatives and projects. Position Responsibilities: Provide practical legal advice to business functions, including operations and distribution channels, primarily on insurance regulations, insurance contracts, and sales-related matters. Provide legal advice on customer complaints and insurance claims, including the review of proposed responses and the assessment of related legal issues. Assist in managing litigation and disputes, including coordinating with external counsel and relevant internal stakeholders. Review insurance policy wording and supporting product materials for legal compliance, clarity, and consistency. Draft and review the Company’s responses and correspondence to regulators and external agencies on matters within the Legal function’s scope of responsibility.
