About the Role
As an SAP HCM Payroll Intern, you will build foundational knowledge in SAP HCM Payroll while contributing to business and technology transformation initiatives. You will work alongside experienced professionals, participate in problem-solving discussions, and gain practical experience translating business needs into technology solutions.
This internship provides opportunities to strengthen your functional and analytical capabilities while contributing to collaborative project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to business and technology transformation projects across different stages of delivery.
- Support the identification of project scope, business needs, and detailed requirements.
- Assist in developing functional and technical specifications that guide solution development and implementation.
- Support the preparation of proofs of concept, estimates, and conceptual solution designs.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate solution implementation activities and track progress.
- Assist with change management activities that support successful solution adoption.
- Apply developing SAP HCM Payroll knowledge to understand business requirements and contribute to project outcomes.
- Participate in learning, knowledge-sharing, and problem-solving activities to continuously strengthen functional and technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or another relevant field.
- Beginner-level knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll.
- Foundational business analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to understand and document business requirements with guidance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in developing expertise in SAP solutions, business processes, and technology transformation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of business analysis or requirements-gathering practices.
- Exposure to functional specification development or conceptual solution design.
- Understanding of change management principles or continuous improvement.
- Academic, project, extracurricular, or previous internship exposure to SAP, payroll processes, HR technology, or enterprise systems.
