Primary duties include: The IT Assistant A will assist students and staff using the Faculty of Education AV (audio/visual) Loans Centre. Depending upon assigned shift, open the AV Loan Centre in the morning and close it in the evening Help students, academic staff, and support staff with basic use of computers, presentation equipment, video and audio recording equipment, and other audiovisual equipment as required Maintain an "alert presence" in the AV Loan Centre Operate the AV loan service by creating reservations and processing checkouts and returns using our asset management software Web checkout Keep track of the AV Loan equipment inventory Understand the basic operating fundamentals of the AV loan equipment and provide practical tips and operations advice to clientele.
