Leads Agile Development squads with autonomy and accountability across a number of projects/platforms. Position Responsibilities: Supports 1-2 teams on a single backlog (AMS or PSS) Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different projects, different cultures, co located vs. distributed, etc). Coaches different levels of hierarchy through agile principles & practices Conducts Agile Events, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives Educates the squads on the adoption of Agile practices and identifies Agile Team improvement opportunities.- Focuses squads on value creation Identifies obstacles to team/s performance; facilitates resolution and escalates where necessary Actively participates in sprints and partners with Product Owners to enable the delivery of prioritized features- Reinforces target agile behaviors Acts as a servant leader to the team (not the ‘bossʼ) Proactively provides real-time feedback to keep delivery on track and address issues as they arise Member of the Scrum Master's Community Represents Manulife values without fail Facilitates and actively participates in MITDC LAC
