Furnace Tech Under general supervision, responsible for the set-up and operation of Mag Cell used in production processes. Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. Shift between activities as production demands, determine and correct more complex machine malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Furnaces · Maintain Furnace Equipment, thermal couples and BBS probes · Monitor and troubleshoot alarms · Troubleshoot furnace faults · Furnace repairs to keep the furnaces maintained and running · Empty and replace dross bins · Fill Flux containers · Maintain furnace tools and PAPR · Compete all required paperwork Credentials · High School Graduate or equivalent. · Two to Four years of Manufacturing experience a plus. · High Pressure Die Casting a plus.
