Summary:
As a Full Stack Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building comprehensive system features that span from the user interface to the backend infrastructure. This role requires actively engaging in the development lifecycle to create innovative solutions that enhance client services. The work environment encourages adopting new technologies and methodologies, focusing on cloud-based and agile approaches to address complex business challenges effectively. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous improvement of system components are integral parts of daily activities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across the platform.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the development process to enhance team productivity and product quality.
Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through technical challenges.
Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Apply approved AI coding assistants to Java/Spring Boot services and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript front-end components for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit/integration testing. Validate generated code for correctness, security, concurrency, dependency risk, and performance before merge protect client data and retain human review accountability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
AI Technical Skills: Hands-on use of approved coding assistants (for example, GitHub Copilot) with context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation. Ability to integrate LLM APIs into Java/Spring Boot services, implement structured outputs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and connect AI-enabled services to front-end components. Evaluate response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling. AI tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, LLM APIs, and project-approved retrieval/vector-store integrations framework examples include Spring AI or LangChain4j. Front-end stack: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Framework and platform choices are project-dependent.
Strong experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Solid understanding of backend development principles, RESTful APIs, and database management.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies to support scalable applications.
Ability to work within agile development environments and utilize version control systems effectively.
Experience in debugging, testing, and optimizing code for performance and security.
Managerial Skills: Lead full-stack delivery through sprint planning, estimation, capacity allocation, dependency and risk management, stakeholder communication, and team mentoring maintain accountability for delivery quality and timelines.
Architectural Skills: Define end-to-end Java/Spring Boot application architecture, service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and front-end integration assess scalability, security, resilience, observability, and deployment trade-offs, and document design decisions.
Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Management, with experience across securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial services processes.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
