Job Description & Summary The Opportunity As part of PwC Enterprise Data Platform team, you design and develop robust, scalable services and integrations that drive efficiency for both internal and external stakeholders across the organization. This is primarily a backend engineering role focused on Java development in a Microsoft Azure environment . You independently design, build, and maintain high-quality backend applications, APIs, and data integrations that power the team's solutions and automations. You have experience with containerized applications (preferably Java Spring Boot microservices) and serverless solutions. You actively participate in code reviews, write comprehensive tests and documentation, and contribute to delivering secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions. While the primary focus is backend development, you will also contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript when required by project needs. You collaborate closely with Business Analysts, other Technical Teams, and the Architecture team to deliver high-quality solutions based on well-defined requirements — all in fluent English, with German being a plus.
