Join CAE Middle East as a Simulator Software Engineer and play a critical role in keeping cutting-edge flight training technology operational at Riyadh Air’s new training centre in Saudi Arabia . This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will take ownership of software configuration control, diagnose and resolve complex software and hardware issues, develop and integrate system improvements, and contribute to simulator performance and certification activities. Duties & Responsibilities Support the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices: Point of contact for complex issues (Software, and/or hardware, and/or performance-QTG), lead and offer technical support and on the job training to fellow engineers and technicians, short-term dispatch on AOG situations. Accountable for Software Configuration Control on all training devices. Debug, identify and actively participate in solving complex issues (software, and/or hardware, and/or performance-QTG). Develop, implement, test, integrate, and present fixes (local and/or from CAE-MTL) on all simulators. Monitor Sim issues and action / update issues that are assigned to the specialists.
