The successful candidate will provide a high-level of accurate surveying and sampling to the underground mining group. Responsibilities: The Underground Surveyor is responsible for the following: Responsible for taking accurate measurements of underground and surface workings and maintaining accurate and secure records Assist engineering team with critical functions including stope design and production planning Using engineering designs to guide mining activities Utilize equipment, such as a total station and scanners to generate accurate surveys Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Knowledge of basic survey
