Job Title: Financial Analyst Please note: this position is 100% in-office in Guelph, ON. Job Summary The Financial Analyst is responsible for conducting, documenting, and reviewing moderate to complex financial analysis projects. Expected to analyze accounting and financial records of the company to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures. Responsibility Support the monthly consolidated close process by performing tasks such as preparing and posting monthly journal entries, collecting, reviewing, and consolidating financial reports from individual Linamar entities. Review and supervise the work of junior staff. Perform and review validation checks to ensure that data being provided by individual entities is complete and accurate. Support internal and external financial reporting through drafting and review of a variety of standard and ad-hoc reports. Academic/Educational Requirements A degree in accounting, business, commerce, or a related discipline is required. CPA designation, or significant progress in the CPA certification process, is required. Required Skills/Experience Minimum of two to three years of related financial experience.
