Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC is growing in Australia and is looking for a candidate to add to the Australian Equity Research team based in Sydney or Melbourne. We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate with an avid interest in financial markets. Candidates will be responsible for fundamental analysis of Australian companies operating across the Global Industrials sectors. RBC provides investment research to institutional fund managers in Australia and offshore. Companies covered vary from established large cap businesses to emerging small cap companies. Associate roles primarily provide research support to Lead Analysts. As you develop, your career pathway includes assuming lead coverage of some companies in your own right depending on your experience and track record of performance in the role. What will you do? Understand what companies under coverage do, how they do it, and the market environment in which they operate. To understand and be able to build and update company financial models in Microsoft Excel.
