Job Description What is the opportunity? As a Director with the Real Estate team, you will be responsible for business development and management of a portfolio of commercial real estate clients, with a primary focus on providing lending solutions for the hospitality, seniors housing, and self-storage sectors in Eastern Canada. In this role, you will work directly with some of RBC’s most highly-valued clients, structuring bilateral as well as large, complex syndicated facilities. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor, connecting clients with other RBC partners to meet their diverse commercial and personal financial needs. While credit structuring and portfolio management is ultimately your responsibility, you will be supported by an Associate Director, who will assist with analyzing and underwriting new loan requests, including compiling financial and market information and preparing credit submissions for RBC’s real estate risk management group for loan adjudication.
