Job Description What will you do? Establishing the control and governance framework over the financial reporting for each business area as well as ensuring flawless execution of close processes -- including review of financial and regulatory submissions (e.g., journal entries, templates). You will: Oversee the financial and regulatory reporting for all supported business lines to ensure the timely production of accurate financial and regulatory results and disclosures. Ensure that new products and new transactions are appropriately captured in RBC financial reporting systems, and that appropriate accounting methodologies are applied. In particular, prepare analyses that take into account IFRS accounting implications and external and internal reporting requirements including MD&A, B/S, P&L, note disclosures & supplemental formats. Manage the monthly Global Attestation review program to ensure proper financial controls supporting external financial results are in place. Ensure that global policies and procedures are adhered to by all stakeholders, including Product Control, Operations, and Head Office Financial and Regulatory Reporting.
